Why Kauai?

I moved to Kauai in 2014 with my brother, Arizona (yes, his name is really Arizona). It was one of the most nurturing — and challenging — seasons of my life as a young woman trying to discover what I wanted out of life and what I hoped to give back to the world.

My brother and I built an incredible life on the island together. We explored every corner of Kauai, immersed ourselves in the local lifestyle, and made lifelong memories along the way. But eventually, I felt called to continue exploring beyond the island, which led me to India and Sri Lanka in 2016 to complete my yoga teacher training.

After returning to Arizona to regroup, I met my now husband in Flagstaff. What was meant to be temporary quickly became home — with one important promise between us: that Kauai would always remain part of our lives. Thankfully, we’ve kept that promise for the last decade, returning to the island as often as possible to reconnect with family, friends, and the community we love so deeply.

Today, Kauai feels just as much like home to us as Flagstaff. After more than 10 years of traveling back and forth, I’ve come to know the island intimately — from the neighborhoods and communities to the hidden beaches, favorite local spots, and lifestyle that makes Kauai so special.

As a licensed Realtor® in both Arizona and Hawaii, I’m passionate about helping clients navigate not only the real estate process, but also the lifestyle transition that often comes with buying property on Kauai. My brother has remained one of my closest friends and biggest inspirations throughout it all. In 2026, we officially took that leap and joined ZT Hawaii LLC to begin serving clients throughout Kauai real estate together. From Princeville and Hanalei to Poipu, Koloa, and Lihue, we’re excited to help buyers and sellers navigate the island market with genuine local connection, thoughtful guidance, and elevated representation.
